Character Biography:
History:
Willow grew up a painfully geeky little Jewish girl in a tiny podunk town called Sunnydale. When, in mid-highschool, a Slayer decided to make Sunnydale home, Willow's life became distinctly more interesting, and certainly more dangerous. She quickly became the resident computer connoisseur and Slayer confidante, proving herself to be a reasonably valuable member of the scary scoobie crew. A few brushes with death can do wonders for poor self-confidence, and Willow blossomed quite a bit through both her contributions, and her friendships. After falling in love with a part-time werewolf named Oz, helping to save the world, and graduating from highschool, Willow happily enrolled in college. Unfortunately, life took a sharp turn for the sad when Oz decided he needed to 'find himself' in a way that did not include the novice witch. devastated, Willow decided to go for a drive, and found herself somewhere (and sometime) she did not expect.......

Sample RPG [Third Person, Character in Situation (150-1000 words)]:

Sometimes, not even a fresh box of Whitman's chocolates could help matters. Despite having eaten fully half a box, the papers drifting down her passanger seat like forlorn brown butterflies, Willow didn't feel even a smidge better. He loved her, he said. He said so. A fresh sob bubbled up from somewhere deep inside her, and Willow cranked up the Chopin till it filled the car with the mournful sounds of the recently broken-up. distant pair of headlights brought her attention back to the dimly lit road, and Willow wiped at her face with the sleeve of her dilapidated grey sweatshirt. It was nearly 3 in the morning, and who in their right mind would care about the state of one's sweatshirt at this hour? Nobody, that's who. Nobody at all. Willow sighed. This was ridiculous. The surrounding countryside was unrecognizable, and she had no idea where she was. Though, Willow had to admit driving alone in the dead of night was oddly calming. Each new yellow stripe along the middle of the highway helped to center her mind; they were a visual pulse beneath her wheels, each seeming to pass in time with her heart.

The black fuzz along the horizon slowly resolved into a forest line, and Willow immediately exploded into the kind of bawls that do not make one look melencholically soft and vulnerable, but instead serve to make one look wet and red-faced. Forests can sneak quite effectively, and this one was no exception – Willow was surrounded by trees before she even realized they were closing in. With two loud sniffles, she rolled down the window and let the scent of wet green growing things surround her like something gentle and alive. The wrappers danced around her, and her hair lifted from her moistened cheeks and whirled about her face. Goosebumps prikled up her neck as her tears dried in the wind, and for the first time all night, Willow smiled.

The sun came from nowhere, streaming through the leaves and destroying Willow's night vision. Letting out a yelp of shock, she threw up a hand to shield her eyes. The road seemed to lurch, and a fluttering terror filled her throat for the briefest of instants. With a loud metallic crunch, the trees welcomed her into their midst.

Though never technically knocked out, it took Willow several moments to re-establish her consiousness around the whining in her ears. When she looked around she was horrified to see the front of her car giving an unfortunate tree a great big bear hug. Willow was unable to decide whether gales of laughter or heaving sobbs would be more appropriate, so she settled on great hiccupping giggles. Willow stumbled out of her car and quickly sobered when she realized the sun was shining through the trees with unusual brightness, despite her watch's insistence upon 3:36 in the morning.

With a brief backtrack to fetch the remainder of the chocolates, Willow began to walk in the general direction she'd been heading. There was little point in backtracking now, and moving forward gave the weary girl the comforting illusion she was going somewhere. Once the next town was successfully reached, Willow resolved to ascertain the sun's unexpected presence in the blue and cloudless sky.
